Tenshi joined our family in May 2013 after Months of planning and Anticipation.

Like any Akita she is extremely aloof to strangers. In fact, there are not many people outside of our household who have managed to win her affections.

 

However for those of us who have cracked our way in she is extremely attentive, obedient and sweet. She loves coming in for cuddles and scratches, but she also likes to have her own space.

 

She is the best communicator in our house, if there is something Tenshi wants she uses a full range of vocals to make sure we know about it.

 

She is also adept in communicating to other Dogs (including our other Akita's) when she doesnt want to play or if they are making her uncomfortable, and these are the only situations in which we have heard her growl.

 

Tenshi Achieved her Australian Champion title in May 2014 and has been taking a break from the Show ring while she matures and calms, and we are hoping to get her back out later in 2015 or early 2016.

 

She has undergone a range of health testing in preparation for breeding, her results are listed below:
