Hiroto came to us from Japan in February 2015 at nearly 2 years of Age and formed an instant connection with Hillary - he is well and truly  a one woman dog.

 

He has a beautiful, sweet nature and loves a cuddle with his mummy. He is also very friendly to other animals, we are yet to see a mean or aggressive streak in him.

We have spent a lot of time and attention to integrate him into our life with particular focus on a positive relationship between him and our existing American Akita Jet.

 

As an import from a kennel in Japan without much early socialisation we have needed to do a lot of work with Hiroto to prepare him for the Show Ring, this is an ongoing process but we are hopeful that he can be taught to do his thing without problems as he truly is a lovely example of the breed.

 

He has recenly undergone a range of health testing in preparation for breeding, his results are pending and will be listed below once we have them:
